All Points West | Live Blog: Metric Lives It Out
Only a few rock starlets can pull off a gold lamé romper, Emily Haines is one of them. (I still love you, Karen O).

They kicked off their set with "Dead Disco" and followed with "Poster of a Girl." They played a generous amount of songs from both of their albums, and closed their set with "Live it Out," sort of stripped down.
After the band played "Monster Hospital" Emily confessed that it was around four years ago, after the election, that she grew into a hippie on the inside, despite her gold lamé outside. I really enjoyed them, this was a fantastic set for me to see them for the first time.
