All Points West | Live Blog: Rogue Wave Brings the Rain

roguewave1.jpg

The first band I checked out today was Rogue Wave. I listened to them more than any other band while I was writing college essays, even though I would have much rather been at a senior pub night, instead of the library. The clouds were rolling in, but that didn't stop them. The band warned us though, that if it started to rain, it wasn't their fault. And rain it did!
I was pretty pleased with their set. They played some of my personal favorites like "Publish My Love" and "Kicking the Heart Out"

From the new album "Asleep at Heavens Gate" we got to hear "Chicago x 12" and "Lake Michigan." The long intro got the crowd clapping despite the initial opening of umbrellas.
Well I'm off to go check out Cat Power, does anyone have a poncho I can borrow?

sorry, can't relate. didn't think rogue wave sounded good at all. & yes, i do blame them for the rain, all of the rain forever.

totally disagree, wave killed - better live than on the album.
