Supernatural Season One DVD Available Today!
If the episodes of Supernatural you Tivoed just aren't cutting it anymore, fear not (we know that's a hard thing to do when you're a fear-lovin' Supernatural fan). But seriously, you can get your fix of the scary series on DVD! Season One of Supernatural is available on DVD today, so you can watch and rewatch "Route 666," "The Benders," "Faith," and all your other first season favorites. Buy the DVD!
Did you buy it yet? Have plans to? We're looking forward to the commentary and gag reel, as well as the special feature "Day in the Life of Jared and Jensen." Well, really, all of it. This DVD just might be worthy of a (ahem) sick day from work this week, so we can settle in for hours upon hours of Supernatural goodness. Is that a cold we feel coming on?

Rewatch Route 666??? Wow are you guys out of touch with the fanbase. "Route 666" and "Bugs" are the bottom two episodes in most fan polls. Of course I'm gonna rewatch both anyway, just because. Oh, and please, either don't bring Cassie back or please re-cast the role. That actress in Route 666 was awful! Half the time it seemed like she wasn't even paying attention to what was going on. It was painful to watch.

Got my DVD yesterday and watched the bonus disc about 3 times. The boys were a riot. Jared is a very talkative sweetie and Jensen was funny and charming. Loved hearing from all the production staff too. Tonight it's the gag reel and the behind the scenes stuff with Jensen and Jared. Life is good! :)

Woohoo! Disks will be in my hands tomorrow, just in time for a weekend Supernatural marathon! And *koff* yeah, I think I'm coming down with Winchesteritis too and will have to stay home tomorrow. The only cure is continuous application of Winchester boys, and the treatment will need to be repeated several times

The cold is called Winchesteritis and there is no cure. However, repeated viewings of the episodes help reduce the symptoms.

The lengths to which I went to get a copy of the DVD set with the paley festival from Best Buy are beyond ridiculous, let's just say that abnormal amounts of walking, rain, and broken umbrellas were involved. However, it was all WORTH IT. This DVD is beyond *priceless* and I cannot say enough times how adorable and hilarious Jensen and Jared are on them! A FANTASTIC purchase worth every single CENT!! :)

I can't wait to get my copy. Darn slow UPS.

I pre-ordered it on Amazon. I got an email yesterday telling me it was shipped.. but according to the tracking #, it won't be here until next Friday :o If I had known it would take that long, I would have bought it from Best Buy or Target instead.
I can't wait to watch the behind the scene stuff :)

This DVD is AMAZING. Absolutely amazing. I'm planning on watching the gag reel exactly 9826 times. And the Paley Festival panel is absolutely *priceless*. I am so grateful to them for giving such a great product to the fans. I actually went to Philadelphia (an hour train ride) for a day JUST so I could experience the DVDs with a fellow fan. Now that's dedication :D
(But why would you list Route 666 as an example of a favorite? It's at the absolute bottom of my list, bar none! *nonplussed*)

I had pre-ordered it from amazon but just couldn't wait for it to come in the mail (it only got shipped yesterday) so I ran over to Best Buy and got it there. That bonus Paley disc had been torturously calling out to me anyway. lol. I'll just return the set from amazon.com when I get it.
I listened to the commentary for the Pilot and Phantom Traveler. I thought the boys did pretty good. I was wondering if they'd find enough to say during the episode. Of course, I didn't really doubt that Jared would come up with stuff to say but I was wondering how much Jensen would actually contribute to the conversation. At any rate, I enjoyed it.

The extra stuff is hilarious. Jared and Jensen pretty much complete my life. They're so cuddly.

I predordered from Best Buy.com to have it shipped to me, then also ordered online yesterday morning and chose the "pick up at store" option (that wasn't available on preorders) so I would be sure to get the Paley Festival dvd. lol I am soo looking forward to watching it. Can someone please let me know how to access the Easter Eggs? I watch VERY few dvds and have no idea how to go about searching for them. If anyone can post them here or e-mail them to me at stormjpad@hotmail.com it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Awesome! Got the DVD from Best Buy, and have already watched the Paley Festival (most awesome), the gag reel three times, "Day in the Life"...and found two "easter eggs". Am on the hunt for more.

This is the first time I've ever bought DVDs of a TV show...and I have to say it is sooooo worth it. Jared is funny and cute and Jensen is absolutely delicious. The behind-the-scenes stuff is great and doc about urban legends and stuff is very very cool. Yes I did spend the entire evening watching the extras -- in case you can't tell. Tomorrow I start on the actual epis. I'm looking forward to the commentaries and just rewatching the whole season before the season 2 starts. The only thing that sucks out loud is that the that the Paley DVD isn't available with every purchase. But overall thanks Kripke et al for the awesome work.
