Rumorville: Calling All Cowboys!
![]()
With old favorites like Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars on the brink of extinction, we wondered... What will fill The CW's schedule next?
Well, we didn't have to wait too long to answer our question. It looks like more reality. We've come across ads like this one and this one publicizing a casting call for a new show about hot farmers and ranchers looking for love. The mystery show is looking for "a man's man," someone who "be charming, rugged, a real character, confident... a CATCH." For a little help, the casting directors offer, "Think Matthew McConaughey."
So... we have a little twist on The Bachelor, eh? Honestly, this sounds like fun. But we also would like to hear about some new, more creative scripted shows. What do ya'll think?

What an absolutely dull idea...just more of the same old mind-numbing reality slop. It's quality scripted programming NOT reality slop that will draw this viewer in!

The poor network's Bachelor. Scraping the bottom of the dung-heap, aren't we, CW?

I think to take these shows spots they need more shows with depth to them. Scripts and characters that the viewers can fall in love with again. There isn't many shows like this anymore out in the world. We another show that brings our imanination back rather then another reality series. Reality shows wear out after a while.

What, like there isn't enough reality tv out there? Why don't they just move Supernatural to a different night so we can have a third season?
That sounds like a much better idea than a new reality show.

I can 100% guarantee the CW that I will not tune in for a reality show. I didn't tune in for the Pussycat Doll show, and I won't tune in for this one.
Scripts!
