Supernatural News Bits

We've been catching up on our Supernatural news -- here's the best of what we've found.

Jared Padalecki talked to Entertainment Weekly a few days before the season finale ended. We love that he still gets geeked out about the special effects: "I'm still fascinated by the gunshot effects — shooting blanks. And stuntmen getting pulled by wires. Like a 12-year-old boy, I'm like, 'Oh cool, it looks like he's flying.'"

Samantha Ferris talks to the folks at Winchester Journals about the fabulous Ellen Harvelle, shares what it's like on the set, and talks about what she'd like her character to experience: "I would like to get it on with John Winchester. There. I said it." Can't say we blame you.

Writer Sera Gamble talks to Winchester Bros. about what it's like to work on the show: "Supernatural's a low-drama job, day to day. Eric Kripke and Bob Singer keep things well organized. I'm given plenty of time to write scripts, and the hours are unusually humane for television. I pretty much show up at the office, have some tea, and start inventing freaky situations involving monsters. If my door is open, the sounds of some poor day player dying at the top of their lungs will carry down the hall from post-production. Sometimes they'll be cutting a scene and we'll all hear the same scream over and over for hours. It's surreal."

i became interested in supernatural after watching the reruns of the first season after the season ended. what i love about supernatural is the the journey these two brothers take and the connection between the brothers. the acting and the writing is excellent. i love jensen he was he is so different

obviously some of us can't express an opinion or concern without getting our heads bitten off.

They are NOT going to pursue a Dean/Jo romance. Kripke stated that very straightforwardly in one of his TV Guide Q&A's. For heaven's sake, Alona Tal has been cast in a fall show for CBS. Can't people let it go?

i think supratural is the best show ever, i love the fact that they bring something differet in each episode but they still manage to keep to the drama of the winchester family, what theyve been through and how they overcome what they go through.it shows the full meaning of what familys about.each episode grips me,especially when something about sammys destiny is revealed,i cant wait to see what happens to every character.

Sera Gamble and Samantha Ferris Kick. Ass!

That is all.

No, wait, Jared kicks ass too.

Sara's interview: That's why they destroyed the Roadhouse? If that's the case why is Jo still alive? There was/is some major uber hate for the character. Also, because Sara didn't give a straight answere to the "Dean and Jo will they or won't they" question, leads me to believe the writers still plan on pursuing a Dean & Jo romance. ick

Hope I'm wrong about that.

Thank you so much for keeping up on the Supernatural news! It's really great to see this awesome show getting more attention lately and I really enjoyed reading the interviews!

Thanks! I love Jared, always so funny and charming!
