So what'd you guys think? The first hour was mostly filler, but it was fun to see Nate and Jennylee again... they're so cute. And it looks like they're still together!

This season's crop of geeks doesn't appear to have a charmer like Nate or Scooter, but maybe that'll be revealed after the makeovers. Joshua's a scene-stealer, kind of like Season One's Richard. We think Luke has potential to be kind of adorable. As for the beauties, Holly (the Betty Boop impersonator) is like a living doll.

The first challenges were totally awkward. Those poor geeks, smooching a dummy! Way to make them feel even less confident in their approach. But the upcoming challenges look much more promising. Did you see those previews? Rapping. Modeling... in Mexico. Chest waxing a la 40-Year-Old Virgin. And some challenge that involves scorpions and rattlesnakes (um, guys, this isn't Fear Factor).

But the best (if overhyped) moment was the final five seconds, when the beauty guy and the geeky girl were finally revealed. We're so glad that they actually went with it -- the guy is clearly a dim bulb, and the girl's every bit as dorky as her male counterparts in the house. Do you guys think the twist will liven things up? Or would you have liked to see a whole show of geeky gals and beauty guys?
