We're thrilled to hear that our favorite demon-hunting dad, Jeffery Dean Morgan of Supernatural, has gotten engaged! It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Yes, the New York Daily News is reporting that JDM and Mary Louise Parker, his co-star on Weeds, have decided to tie the knot. We hope they'll be deliriously happy together.

We have to admit, a couple of things immediately ran through our minds when we heard the news. First: Boy, is MLP making a step up over baby daddy BiIlly Cruddup. Think about it: JDM likes kids, likes dogs, can cook a mean steak, is funny and self-effacing, and, well, he looks like that! What's not to love?

Our second, fleeting, selfish thought? Darn it! This means we'll never get a shot at the man!
