Hey yeah i like lindsey i dont want her and lucas to be together but i do like her on the show.. Also i like the whole lucas and peyton thing i hate her she is horriable i hate her more than dan.sorry to sound so mean about it i like hilarie as a person i just dont like her on the show. ok I have watched evry single episode and this season is killn me! You have got to get Lucas and Peyton back together. Kill Dan off the show, he's horrible! Also you cannot let Haley and nathan get a divorce. Please end this eason w/ Lucas & Peyton wedding:) I know a lot of angry ppl who want them together. Lindsay has got to go. I totally agree with you about Nathan, it seems like he can't speak up when he needs to. I don't worry about Naley, they'll find their way back for sure. As for Leyton, I've never actually understood why Lucas proposed to her so suddenly and I'd also say no if I were Peyton. I think the main reason why Peyton didn't run after Lucas is that she thought she might have a big career and you also can't forget that she was only 19, how many people get married so early? Lucas probably thought, ''hell, if I can't have her now, I might as well not have her at all'' lol. So girls, it was nice listening to you, I'll be hearing ya...

Okay, hate to be a killjoy, but this is really bothering me.

How is Haley a high school teacher in only 4 years?

She'd need a masters (2 years, 1 at the very least) plus a bachelors (4 years... SOME people can do 3.5, but that would be IMPOSSIBLE with a child). Actually, it sorta seems impossible that she's even has a BA after 4 years. I know Lucus helped during that time, but it is still uber-unrealistic. And then to make it seem like she got her BA AND MA in 4 years? No way.

OTH writers, you've got some explaining to do!

I also just wanted to add i had the feeling that Owen and Rachel new each other previously.. and who do you think the friend of Owen's is?? that helped him out of his addiction?? someone else thats coming back to the show?? I guessed that it was Rachel who Brooke fired back at the first episode at the end.. also im pretty sure last week one of you said something about maybe Dan hiring Carrie?? yes.. im sure you did.. i dont think Dan is completely reformed.. i did at first.. but watching it again last night.. his face when Lucas got up to talk... and 5 years isnt enough to be reformed.. theres something he's already got planned.. i reckon he might have got Carrie to audition for the nanny role.. i dont know.. just thinking out loud here, and she got busted .. i dont know how it would have been planned.. (he says he does something to redeem himself.. ) so its probably not the end to Carrie id say..

Im in totally agreeable with Mia's comment about Leyton.. and im prett sure ill be shot too.. haha - i mean.. i know that they are what Mark S always wanted from the beginning of the show.. and i know its only show.. but like, Peyton cant just come back and expect him to be available.. and then try sabotage his relationship.. admittedly i am a total Leyton fan.. being a watcher since the beginning.. but its true.. if they were star-crossed lovers.. fckn totally in love or whatever.. then it wouldnt have taken 3 years and lucas to be someone else for Peyton to realise.. she only realises this stuff when shes lost it.. (ps.. Peyton is actually my fav character!!) haha
ALSO.. i was one of the people last week that said about that knowing about the whole series would probably be a good thing if you were going to comment on the show.. i wasn't relaying the comment by any means in a mean way.. and i love listening to your commentary.. its funny.. and fun to listen to.. and i just wanted to say that i totally dont think that if you havent seen the entire series that you dont have a right to comment.. it is good to a have a fresh prospective.. and once i got over my leyton love around the cat fight last week.. i started to realise, maybe it wasnt mean to be.

And also.. Lucas and Peyton's kiss has to come back to haunt him!! he cant get away with deliberately kissing Peyton and actually liking it.. while Nathan faces a divorce, because he's too much of a dumbass (yes, i agree with you there Mia) to tell Haley that Carrie kissed him.. and when Nathan came over to tell Haley it was nothing with Carrie.. he SHOULD have added after "there was some flirting.. and i let it.. i shouldnt have.. i was going to tell you.... (he should have added at that point "but then Carrie quit and i thought we'd be rid of her.." OR something like that) instead.. he just continues with "... but you have to believe me when i say there is nothing between us".. she ASKS him.. is there anything else!?!? last week he was going to tell her!! is he fckn DUMB??

I agree that Lucas can be pretty self righteous - and think everything has to go past him - everything is about him - and he is above everyone else because he didnt have a daddy when he was growing up - and sometimes that even fcks me off!! so yeah.. just needed to add that in there!!

Anyway guys.. just wanted to tell ya, love what ya doing.. and cant wait for next week!!

hey guys! i just want to say that ur comment on leyton was TOTALLY OVERDUE! i hate how they are "so in love" but neither did ANYTHING to get the other back!! ugh its so frustrating!!!! but nathan really angered me like u said he didnt defend himself! and it might just be me but he took a LONNNNG time to get carrie out of the shower! and naley is why i watch the show so this episode crushed me. :[ but hopefully carrie will die, jamie will love haley again, and naley will get back together!

we actually liked this episode very much!

The characters got really close again, and they actually communicated on a normal way...in the past few episodes...some things seemed to be brought in a little...robot-y ...but this episode it all went smooth and it seemed so natural!

It was like One Tree Hill of Season 4 (which we still think was a better season..)... the characters showed us who they really are and can be, (Brooke worrying about something else than her company and her image, Peyton doing what she's good at and succeeding in things..) eventhough some themes were pretty dark and gloomy (drugs), there was still a positive glow coming out of the episode (“we can beat this”, “we’re staying together”,...)... we think this was also the very first episode of the season where they tone wasn't...moody

What we liked:

eventhough he had only a small part in this episode (not that we mind because we generally don't like his character very much..) but we think that Q was implemented as a good person with feelings for once... you could see that he was dissapointed and they decided not to throw the cocky attitude in it, which was a good call in this situation!!!

We think that Brooke & Rachel (props to Sophia & Danneel) acted towards eachother on a very humane, personal level ... you could feel the tension dripping off of it and it was good!...they both raised and lowered their voices at the riht time...which made it sound like they were having an actual drug-induced-conversation instead of acting it off a script... Also, Danneel played the druggy-part really well...

We loved the fact that Owen ditched (or beat up...) the dealer..however we are a bit confused as to whetehr or not Rachel & Owen have met sometime in the past... because there's no way that Owen could've overheard brooke saying "rachel"...it was too soft (specially since the situation was clearly hectic..). Also the fact aht he was so open about his past to Brooke ...

We loved little Jackson's performance again...he just blew the stage away when he was acting the hate scenes... It was a powerful performance for such a little guy, eventhough it made us cringe sometimes (poor haley!) ... still... very well done by Jackson...specially the "I hate you" and the "I wish nanny carrie was my mamma" scenes where very strongly acted.

Peyton and Mia's performance against John was great! ...we loved the fact that they pulled it off in the end and that Mia got what she wanted...eventhough we're sad to see Kate Voegele go as a character ... she was good!

we liked the fact that Lucas didn't tell a lie for once...

WHAT WE DIDN'T (really) LIKE

We didn't like the fact that Dan is already eligable for parole... Isn't there a higher punishment for brothermurder (or murder occuring in the close family/relatives?) ... And the fact that he pretty much lied about the fact taht Jimmy was the one that killed keith for about a year shouldn't have helped his case in the way it aperantly did... Normally, murderers don't get out after 5 years, specially not when they lied about it in the first place..
What we also didn't like is the fact that, at the end of S4, you could see Dan being sorry about what he had done (the suicide attempt, the nervous breakdown,...) ...but now, the character just seemed to be his old self again.... And we know...Dan wouldn't be Dan if it weren't for the evil part of it...but it would be nice and refreshing to see him actually feeling sorry about the things he did...we mean, he did have 4 years (which is only a little amount...) to think about his actions

We didn’t like Carrie... Not only because we don’t really believe the actress when she’s playing it (sorry for the fans, but that’s the way we see it...)...but we also have the biggest issues with Carrie when it comes to Jaimie and Haley... Haley was there when Carrie needed a job (okay, she was looking for a nanny...but it wasn’t like carrie had an overload of experience...) and than Carrie goes phycho and tries to overrule Haley’s marriage by going after Nathan and trying to persuade the little boy into hating his mother??? That’s just sick!
What we are interested in is, however, if the Naley fans are going to give Carrie (or Torry DeVitto) the same treatment as Rachel (or Danneel Harris) (for trying to steal Nathan and almost succeeding in it)...Both Rachel & Danneel got a lot of things thrown at them/her for “persuading Nathan”...so we’re pretty curious to see on how its going to evolve for Carrie & Torry....

so, good episode!!!!!

also i completly agree with mia about the leyton thing. peyton didnt go back for lucas for 3 years and vice versa. We all know that they were hurt and lucas had a hurt pride but if they really wanted each other,they would have fought for each other.

ohh and thanks for being realistic about nathan. finally someone has hit the nail on the head. he needs to grow up and tell his wife the truth.

marin - just because she apologized doesn't make everything right...and Peyton was the person who started the insults...with her fat a** comment and Lindsey just made a riposte. We can argue who was worse but in my opinion Peyton was the one behaving weird - she was treating every move/word of her to insult her...Don't laught at him...WTF was that about...? and she did get personal - she did say some weird stuff about her dad and then her jaw dropped when Lindsey said what happened...Lindsey's text about the bleeding wasn't approproate but in comparison to Peyton's behaviour/lines it was nothing.

Somebody wrote: "peyton has a right to be mad" - why...? because Lucas chose Lindsey...? she should get mad at him and not his fiance. She said she wanted to try to be nice but the first think she does when they come in: a stinky look at Peyton and: oh my two old friends and their new pal Lindsey...

And I didn't get why Brooke was apologizing her...don't be apologetic for being nice to your friend's fiance...and Haley is firends with Linsey for some time now and Peyton didn't keep in touch with Hales so I don't get her attitude at all...

I hope we get some old Peyton back because the season 5 Peyton is just annoying...

Anyway: Tim was Nathan's best friend, at least for Tim he was. Tim Time and he always hit on Brooke. ;)

Peyton - way over the line...I mean why not just shut up and not see in every word of her a possibility to be mean...and why was she so angry at her "perfect life"? she was furious...the worst thing was when she sang about the ring...which lead to another thought: why the hell did Brooke tell Peyton about the ring! I mean she saw that she hated Lindsey so she should have know she would spill it...Brooke is annoying me this season when it comes to Leyton: she talks about her relationship with Lucas as if it was only some adventure on the road leading to Leyton, she pushes Peyton to fight for Lucas even though he is with Lindsey - and she should be the last person who does that 'cause she's been there...

Carrie - she is so annoying I would kick her butt. and her lip-biting is so stupid.

Last thing: the girls (L and P) should not fight over Lucas ('cause he obviously isn't worth it - don't get how all those hot girls love him when he hurts each and every one of them) and throw him down a bridge in Tree Hill. LOL

Peyton was awful, i know she can hurt people but at this point it's totally awful.

I Think that peyton has every right to be pissed at lindsay..lucas has been playin both of the girls and of course the one person you take it out on is the other women its just natural!!!

The fact you are even asking about Tim just makes me laugh at some of your opinions. I remember the first podcast where someone was supposed to be catching up. Tim was in season one. Someone hasn't watched anything it seems. Watch a few seasons, then maybe it will sound like you know what you're saying.

Firstly I decided to listen to your podcast expecting some insightful look at the whole episode but instead all I heard is 3 women that do not seem to have watched previous seasons commenting on something they do not fully know about.
For example, I have never watched the OC or Lost and it would be ridiculous if I was to do a podcast commenting on characters without knowing the history. I can comment on their bad behaviour now but try to find the goodness in them instead of a complete witching and bashing of the character. I think you get my point. I also think you ladies should invest some time watching previous seasons so that we can have an insightful look at the character instead of this painful bleeding noise to our ear about a show that you clearly do not know the history about. Thanks for the wasted 13.22 mins of my life that I cannot take back. This makes Mark Schwahn's Podcast seem a million times better.
On Peyton, funny how you call one up on bad behaviour but not the other. I guess it’s wrong to call someone a fat ass or man face but okay to call them a bulimic bitch and also use info you have about a traumatic time (them bleeding in the library) as a way to insult them by saying this will be the second time they will be bleeding in the library. Don’t know about you ladies but all of it was distasteful. All I saw in the end is Peyton apologising but didn’t see Lindsey apologising at all, which means it is acceptable behaviour. This is no different than Brooke using Peyton’s mother's death as a punch line to hurt her.
What I don’t get, leaving this episode aside is why Lindsey cares so much about whether Peyton likes her. I don’t know a lot of girls that are friends with their boyfriend's ex. For me, I am sick of all the Peyton doesn't like me storyline, move on and enjoy being with Lucas. Lindsey is also so deluded that she even said Peyton called her a bitch. How does "maybe I don’t like her" become "Lindsey is a bitch" and if I remembered correctly she ran to Lucas and said "Peyton is a bitch". Anyway rehashing this is boring just like how I am tired of the whole Lindsey situation. We get it already, she wants Peyton's life and wants to be like her, now let’s move on. To Mark please do not write an episode like this because it was so irrelevant and not needed. You knew by having Lindsey's dad die of cancer Peyton will let her guard down a little because her mother died of cancer, reality is, these girls can't be BFFs.
On Tim, he used to worship Nathan in season 1 and 2 so not surprised he named his first kid after Nathan. Again if you would have watched previous seasons you would have gotten the joke. On Mouth, again prev season. The only thing I agree with you ladies on is the Jamie/Q scene.

um...if you guys haven't watched the show, you shouldn't do podcasts.
The pizza delivery guy was Tim - an obsessive high school friend of Nathan.

I havent heard you guys do this before.. but its awesome.. its good to hear what other people think of whats to come, etc... although (and dont take this the wrong way) if you love the show heaps.. why dont you go back and watch the beginning, because of lot of OTH episodes now will have personal jokes etc.. from the beginning.. i know FOR SURE episode 12 will, so maybe it'd be a good idea.. Mark Schwahn even says in the season 3 commentary that he likes giving the viewers that have always stuck with show those little lines in the show that only someone who has always watched it will get.

But other than that.. i like ur commentary and look forward to next weeks.

Just wanted to add a bit to the peyton issue.... many are saying she was out of line and maybe had she known about Lindsay's father before-hand and still said those comments then yes I would agree she was out of line, but come one people. All she did was pick on the "poor little rich girl" AFTER Lindsay made the first rude remark! What Peyton did was in retaliation! and jeez give the girl a break! she just found out that the beloved ring which was a symbol of the love that Karen & Keith had was intended to be hers first and was now sitting on the finger of someone else....that had to hurt. Sure she said "no" (which she didn't) so Lucas was up for grabs I guess, but the ring that holds soo much meaning behind it isn't something that can just be given to anyone. The love LP had was built over years and years of pain, happiness, etc... Lucas & Lindsay are consisting of what...two years, three tops? The love they have is nothing compared to what LP had or what Keith & Karen shared. Peyton took the high road in the end and apologized for what she said to Lindsay and even took a more NOBLE step of telling Lindsay where the ring really came from so she wouldn't doubt herself or Lucas anymore. My concern is why didn't Lucas tell Lindsay that himself? Why keep that vital bit of information a secret? Also, I wish everyone would stop targeting Peyton as the black sheep in the show. Regardless of what happens she is always singled out as "the witch" or the home-wrecker, etc when in reality she hasn't done anything on the show that someone else didn't also do, but were they torn down and criticized so severely? NO they weren't. Keep that in mind next time one feels like dissing peyton. Thanks.

one more thing... it was always hinted that "Tim liked Nathan," although it was hinted that Tim liked anything moving, so I don't know if that helps you with the whole naming his kid Nathan issue, lol.

I totally agree with you guys (ignore the haters... they just want Leyton together)! Peyton was WAY out of line! She needs to get over herself and realize that she doesn't own Lucas, and that any other girl with him did NOT steal him from her! She was awful, and I actually usually love Peyton's character!

I absolutely don't agree about Peyton and Lindsey. Lindsey landed just as many verbal low blows as Peyton did and, in the end, Peyton apologized profusely. Lindsey said "welcome to the club".....WTH?! Lindsey started the negativity with the "you called me a b**ch" comment, which was NOT true. You guys also totally ignored the comment about making Peyton "bleed all over the library" and Lindsey advancing on Peyton physically. It sounded like you actually praised the "bulimic b**ch" comment from Lindsey and then say the "fat a*s" comment was so horrible! Peyton had no idea about the death of Lindsey's father and when she found out she apologized (4 times!) AND lied about the ring to spare Lindsey's feelings and reassure her that Lucas loves her!! Lindsey couldn't muster up one "I'm sorry, too"! It would've been nice.

I stick by what I have said before... you really need to watch the previous seasons before you commentate on some of the plot lines you don't know about. For example, Tim and Mouth and Jimmy. In my opinion your podcasts don't hold as much credibility if you don't know who Tim is, why he does what he does, and the same for the relationship with Mouth and Jimmy.

wthhh who are these people? peyton has a right to be mad. lindsey crying was terrible, acting wise i mean. i did feel bad for her but she was also being bitter, peyton just hit the right notes.

I love listening to you girls! And glad to see all 3 of you back. I have to agree with you on the whole Peyton thing, she was being the biggest bitch ever and it just wasn't Peyton. And i know alot of people hate Lindsey but I really don't have a problem with her. She can get on my nerves sometimes for little things she does but all in all i kinda like her. But like you girls said its only a matter of time until she is out of the picture.
Now about Tim. I LOVE IT! I was sooo happy when he came back, i've really missed him. And for Mia and Sarah, Tim was Nathan's best friend in the beginning of the show. He was always the comic relief for the show, and we haven't seen him since the middle of season 3. So i was actually happy to have him back, and yeah the whole naming his son Nathan thing kinda creeped me out too, but i guess its just to show how much Nathan mean to him. But he really got me with the line at the end about how no one keeps in touch, I just wanted to give him a hug!
Next thing would be Jamie, OMG he is the most adorable thing on the face of this planet. And yes Q redeemed himself, and is looking GOOD! Umm so can we agree that the scene in the locker room was some of the worst acting done by CMM?!? haha
Next thing is the whole ring ordeal. Ok I think we all know it is Peyton's ring, that is a fact. But i really don't think it was Karen's. For one if Peyton knew it was Karen's she would have never called is cheap and I feel as though it would have been mentioned before like when Brooke first saw it she would have known it was Karen's or even when Lucas gave it to Lindsey it would have told her to show her how much she means to him. So i think it is just something Peyton made up to make Lindsey feel better.
Next thing would be the whole Mouth thing, and honestly I loved it. I guess its just cause we all lived through that tragedy and to remember Jimmy and that day is something that is still hard to do. I think you really have to go back and watch it and "live through it" to really understand. But i have to agree with the end of the show where they were all singing i thought that was a bit much. and OMG the beginning I so thought this episode was going to be a musical or something lmao! But yeah the nanny if def. not over with, she will come back, I know it. And i wouldn't be surprised if Dan some how had something to do with her. But this whole thing with Dan next week is going to be interesting. I've actually missed having Dan, actually I miss Karen and Deb too for that matter. I really want to know where Deb is, they haven't mentioned her AT all! But we shall see. Soo excited we are getting 6 more episodes. Can't wait til the next podcast!

What about the ring?? I thought the keith karen connection to the ring was totally out of the blue...i didn't see that one coming and it totally changes the perspective on lucas giving lindsey the ring...but i look forward to your podcasts ever week, i like to hear what you have to say even if i don't always agree...its good to hear a different point of view...keep up the good work

I just had to say I loved the podcast dispite me not agreeing with everything you guys said especially about Lindsey Peyton thing but my fav part is that you guys decided to have lives when you were about to talk about Mouth LOL

An interesting podcast with alot of points that I definately agree on. Especially when it came to Peyton's character. She was so out of line with her comments about Lindsey. And it shouldn't have taken Lindsey's heartbreaking story about her dad for Peyton to see the light, that she's not a bad person. I know that it is extremely hard to get over someone that you have loved for a very long time, but if you want that person to be happy..then just let it go. If it's meant to be, then it's meant to be. But I do feel sorry for Lindsey because I really think her heart is going to be totally broken within the next few episodes. And that sucks because I like her character.

Tim was the comedic plot that I have missed so much. He was Nathan's best friend at the beginning of the series and was prominent at that time, but his character kind of faded away in the background..like Jimmy Edwards. So good to see him and his goofiness. And his last line was so true..you might think that you keep in touch with your friends, but some are just left behind.

Brooke defending her mom is like a reflex reaction for her. Brooke saw the relationship that Peyton and Haley had with their mothers (when they were around) and wanted that with her mom. Victoria was never around when Brooke was growing up, and with her helping with c/b, she's hoping to get the approval she so desperately craves. I don't think that will happen and I really hope Brooke sends her to the curb.

Nathan and Lucas...yeah, they're both d***s. Definately. And we have definately not seen the last of the repercussions of those kisses.

Again .. enjoyable podcast. Worth my however many minutes I spent listening. I basically agree with everything but I'm gonna add that I loved that Tim (pizza delivery guy) was in the episode and hope to see more of him. He was absent for the a lot of season three and season four and I felt like they were a little less comedic because of it. He was just a breath of funny in seasons one and two and I hope we get to see more of him. He's not a big, important character but he'll always be one of my favourites.

I love this podcast it was hilarious, and Mia was back! I like it when it all three of you! Great job guys and I agree with you guys once again! Can't wait until next week!
