Part Two: Who's The Hottest of Them All? Vote for More Women of The CW!

We're back with the next two rounds of ladies in our Who's The Hottest of Them All contest, where we pit some of The CW's most gorgeous stars against each other. If you haven't already, cast your vote for Groups One and Two! We'll narrow down the ladies' pool by half after this week, and you'll have your chance to vote for the men next week. Is it just us, or is it getting hot in here?

GROUP THREE

Lana Lang (Smallville) vs. Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl)
Lana vs. Blair

Lana Lang: Lana Lang is the platonic ideal of the Girl Next Door – sweet, pretty, and someone all the boys pine for. Her winsome charms have entranced the world’s greatest superhero and the world’s most nefarious supervillain. Not bad for a small-town Kansas girl!
Blair Waldorf: Don’t let the prim-and-proper demeanor fool you – Gossip Girl’s Queen Bee knows how to let loose! She can go from presiding over a blue-blood brunch to spontaneously joining a burlesque show. That’s versatility! Just don’t cross her, ok? Blair knows how to make people pay!

Three more after the jump, so click through!

Girlfriends: Who's Right in the Joan/Aaron Fight?

Girlfriends is back, and there's already trouble in paradise for Joan and Aaron. Whose side are you on in their big fight? We kind of lean toward Joan -- Aaron was acting way too much like a man out of the 50s for our tastes. You don't propose to a strong woman and then expect her to shut up and do what she's told.

Still, Joan was out of line with all her money comments -- she had to know that "if you want to be head of the household, you need to make head-of-household money" hit below the belt.

What did you think? Tell us all in the comments!

Girlfriends: Was It a Season or Series Finale?

Will Girlfriends return?

With all the frenzy about Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars, we almost forgot about another stellar female-fronted show on The CW: Girlfriends. The show ended its seventh season with one cliffhanger – which man will Joan choose? – but the bigger cliffhanger is, will this show be back?

Good question, and, alas, we don't have an answer. The press seems to be split -- star Tracee Ellis Ross told gossip maven Marilyn Beck that "it's leaning in the direction of good," while TV Guide reports that the show's prospects are iffy. We won't know until the upfronts next week (And remember to check out our live-blogging coverage!)

Golden Brooks also weighs in on the show's prospects in another interview, and tells why she thinks her character, Maya, has such a following: "I think everybody can connect with Maya because she speaks for the common people," Brooks explained. "She speaks for all the people who are going to vote for Barack Obama, who voted for Clinton. She's the person who cuts out coupons. She's the person worried about turning the lights off when she leaves. She's the person who is God fearing and go to church every Sunday. She speaks for the community. She speaks for society. She's not a caricature."

What did you think of the season finale? Will it satisfy you as a series finale, if it comes to that? Do you want Girlfriends to return? Let us know in the comments!

CW Stars Pucker Up for Charity

Valentine's Day is coming up, so we're thinking about kissing… and good causes. And who woulda thunk it, several of the CW's hottest women are thinking the same thing.

Kristen Bell, Tina Majorino, Persia White and Jessica Biel have all lent their lips to charity, in the form of "Sealed with a Kiss" lip-print stamps. From now until Feb. 28, you can buy stamps with these and other celebrity lipstick kisses (and the occasional paw print) at http://www.zazzle.com/kiss. Plus, part of the proceeds will go to The Humane Society of the United States. It's enough to make you feel warm and fuzzy all over, isn't it?

A Girlfriends Wedding?

Golden Brooks from Girlfriends talks to TV Guide about her character, the evolution of the show and what we can expect to see the rest of this season: "There are a lot of fun little surprises. I don't know if I can say, but there's a big wedding coming up. Maya and Darnell have been trying to have a baby, and there's going to be some surprises as to why it's not happening. And there's a big surprise at the wedding."

Ahh! What could it be, Girlfriends fans? She's leaving us in suspense!

The CW Star of the Week

Tracee
Name: Tracee Ellis Ross

Where you can catch her: On Girlfriends, season premiere Sunday, October 1 at 8/7c

Where else you can see her in action: Hanging Up, Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls in '07

Why we heart her: How can you not love this Renaissance woman? In addition to her current gig, the Brown University grad also has modeled and served as a contributing editor for Mirabella and New York magazines.

Did you know? She's the daughter of the legendary Diana Ross. Well, you probably knew that. But it's always nice to see next of kin make names for themselves as well.
