Staph Infection Info From Dr. Steve:
There is an increase in the amount of drug resistant staph infections in urban communities.
According to researchers in Chicago there's been a seven-fold increase in recent years there.
And the same thing is happening in other big cities.
The bacteria, called methicillin resistant staph or MRSA is usually seen in hospitals and nursing homes.. But now it's showing up in crowded living conditions and public housing and jails.. Where people are more likely to spread the infection.

You may have heard various reports that Vitamin D can help fight cancer.. And other reports that find that it doesn't.
Now a new. Large study from the national cancer institute finds no sign that Vitamin D lowers the overall risk of dying from cancer.. But that isn't clearing up the question completely. Researchers analyzed Vitamin D levels in almost 17,000 people and tracked their health. 10 years later a little more than 500 people died from cancer. And there was no correlation to their Vitamin D levels. But, those with high levels of Vitamin D appeared 72 percent less likely to die of colorectal cancer than people with the lowest Vitamin D levels.
So the question is. Should we be taking extra Vitamin D?
