Smokey Eyes:

smokeyes0110.jpg

Celebrity Makeup Artist Ahsunta Sheriff stopped by to give us a step by step guide on how to create a smokey eye.

Her tips:
1. Cleanse and prep skin.
2. Apply primer on entire face including eyes.
3. Use a creamy pencil in black, chocolate, or grey. Start at the lash
line and make a thick line.
4. Using a firm shadow brush, blend the liner upward until it is sheered
out.

5. Apply shadow (in any deep rich color) using a soft shadow brush on
the lid of the eye up to the crease.
6. Use a blending brush to blend color so it fades at the crease.
7. For a more intense look, add liner on the bottom. Then, using a
smudging brush or cotton swab, blend the bottom lashes.
8. For even more drama, add same color eye shadow and dust it lightly
along the bottom lash line.
9. For fun, add a touch of gold or bronze shimmer in the inner corner of
the eyes and brow bone.
