Let The Gloating Begin
As a New York sports fan, very little that has happened in the last year or so that has helped to soothe the pain of the Red Sox beating the Yanks in 4 straight games in the ALCS... until about 10:30 last night. This is how Boston.com is presenting the biggest choke in sports history*.
The game that will live in infamy to every New England fan ever... 18-1, and there will be no parade on Commonwealth (if that's even where they have them), no book deals, no Letterman, no trip to the White House, nothing... just endless pain, embarrassment and misery.
And as New York sports fans, we will delight in Beantown's heartbreak for as long as we can, at least until pitchers and catchers report, and maybe even for a little while after that... welcome back to the karma capital!!
