Mary Steenburgen Talks About 'Step Brothers'

Mary Steenburgen plays Nancy Huff in the new movie Step Brothers, which premieres tomorrow, July 25.
Nancy is a single-mother and gets married to Dr. Robert Doback (Richard Jenkins). Both are single parents and have an adult son who still lives with them. Their marriage makes Nancy's son Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) and Richard's son Dale Doback (John C. Reilly) step-brothers. Hilarity ensues as Brennan and Dale must find a job within a month or else they will be kicked out of their new parents' house.
A native of Arkansas, Steenburgen's career took off in 1980 when she won an Oscar for Best Acress in a Supporting Role for her part as Lynda Dummar in the movie Melvin and Howard. Since then she has dabbled both in film and TV roles, with her most recent TV part as Nancy Girardi, Joan (Amber Tamblyn) and Kevin's (Jason Ritter) mom in CBS's Joan of Arcadia.
Steenburgen has two grown children and resides in Los Angeles with her husband Ted Danson (Damages, Becker).
