Dining Pix: Nino's Restaurant

Nino Selimaj of Nino's Restaurant stopped by to kick of CW11's Dining PIX, in which we will highlight a great eatery every Thursday in July. Selimaj stopped by for a cooking demo and made a delicious tuna dish for us.

RECIPE & VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP...
-Tuna:
10oz Filet of Tuna
-Caponata:
Ingredients:
1 cup diced zucchini, eggplant and onions
1 tablespoon raisins and pine nuts
Touch of tomato sauce and balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper
Sauté with garlic and extra virgin olive oil
-Vinaigrette dressing:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
Chopped shallots and thyme
Few drops of truffle oil
-Preparation:
Marinate the Tuna with salt, pepper and lemon before cooking
Sear the tuna in a heated pan with extra virgin olive oil
Sear on all sides equally for 2-3 minutes
Cut seared Tuna
Serve with Cappanatta and Vinaigrette dressing
