Actor Tom Cavanagh Grew Up in Africa But Is Now Some American Abroad

Tom Cavanagh stars in the off-Broadway revival Some Americans Abroad as Joe Taylor, a department chairman at an American college. This limited engagement opens its curtains on Saturday, July 24 at the Second Stage Theatre and runs through August 3.
Some Americans Abroad is about a group of American college students and their professors who go on a literary tour of England. "With a crammed itinerary and barely enough time to digest the sites, the students’ behavior devolves from appreciative to appalling while the professors confront the emptiness beyond their idealism in this comedy about what it means to make choices and stick with them."
