Comedian Bill Burr Asks 'Why Do I Do This?'

Bill Burr has a new stand-up comedy DVD called Why Do I Do This?, which will be released on September 16 and his new CD, Why Do I Do This? on Tuesday, August 5 from Image Entertainment.

Burr also has a one-hour Comedy Central special of the same name on August 31 at 11pm.

Burr is a Massachusetts native who has been on The Opie & Anthony Show, Chappelle's Show and The Late Show with David Letterman.

One of his most infamous stand-up moments was in 2006 when he was booed on stage during a gig in Philadelphia. He abandoned his scripted material and argued back with the audience by hurling profanity and insults at them. After this 10 minute tirade, he was actually given a standing ovation before exiting the stage.
