Frozen Popcornsicles Are A Crazy Summer Treat You Will Like

Top Chef contestant from this past season, Richard Blais became a fan favorite on the show – but viewers quickly fell in love with his spiky blonde hair and less than conventional methods in the kitchen. This summer, he has created an innovative and delicious treat – FROZEN POPCORNSICLES.
Tamsen Fadal joined him as he made some and handed them out at Garrett Popcorn’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue. Blais loves popcorn, and wanted a way to make it even more enjoyable in hot weather – so after hand crafting a ball of delicious CheeseCorn and CaramelCrisp kernels, he deep freezes the entire thing, instantly, using billowing liquid nitrogen. The result is a deliciously intense burst of icy-cold flavor, followed by fogged breath.
