Jonathan Groff Talks About His Long, Beautiful 'Hair'
Jonathan Groff plays Claude in The Public Theater'sproduction of Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical at Central Park's Delacorte Theatre.
Hair is a rock musical set in the 1960s America -- the era of flower children and spreading of love. During this turbulent wartime, Claude starts as a war protester but later enrolls himself into the Army. He regrets his decision because he won't be able to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. With his personal freedom gone, he falls into a stupor of doom.
Groff is a Tony-nominated Broadway star and got his big break as the star of Spring Awakening.
