Damian Lewis Talks About His 'Life'
Damien Lewis is the star of the new NBC show Life, which premieres tonight at 10pm.
Lewis, a British actor, plays Detective Charlie Crews -- a cop who was wrongfully sentenced to life in prison for a triple homicide he did not commit. Charlie ended serving 12 years before he was exonerated. Now, he's back on the force and is a better officer than he was before because he understands how a cop and a con thinks.
Lewis broke into the American market with his role in the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers. Fans will also remember him from the British series Warriors, Hearts and Bones and Jeffrey Archer-The Truth. He has also been in Cannes-featured films Brides, Chromophobia and the critical hit Keane.
