Actress Jessica Szohr Talks About Season 2 of 'Gossip Girl'

Jessica Szohr is Vanessa Abrams on the popular teen drama Gossip Girl, which airs Tuesdays at 8pm on the CW.

Vanessa is an aspiring filmmaker who is is childhood friends with Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley). Before moving from Brooklyn to Vermont, Dan and Vanessa nearly became a couple. But when she came back to her old stomping ground, he only had eyes for Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively).

However, Dan's best friend, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) and Vanessa soon shared a kiss after an SAT tutoring session.

Fans of Gossip Girl can look out for her and Chuck Bass (Ed Westick) to do some flirting this season.

Szhor (pronounced ZOR) is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin is the eldest of six children and started her career as a model for Kohl's Department Store. Her other modeling credits include Mountain Dew, Claire's Boutique and Crate and Barrel.

On the small screen, Szhor has been on CSI: Miami, My Wife and Kids, That's So Raven, Joan of Arcadia, Drake & Josh and What I Like About You, among other TV series.
