Actor Matthew Settle Talks About Season 2 of 'Gossip Girl'

settle0915.jpg

Matthew Settle plays Rufus Humphrey on the CW hit show Gossip Girl, which airs Mondays at 9pm.

On the show, Rufus is father to Jenny and Dan, two students who attend a prestigious Upper East Side high school. Settle warns that Jenny, this season, is a fireball and will entangle herself in "jaw dropping" situations. And, at this point in the season, Dan has just mended a bridge with girlfriend Serena (Blake Lively).

Rufus is not without a romantic engagement either. He and Serena's mother Lily (Kelly Rutherford) are in love, and hooked up on Lily's wedding night. However, she still went along with the ceremony and married another man, even though Rufus has her heart.

You can catch Settle in his latest project The Ex-Terminators, where he plays Dan -- a detective investigating three women who "exterminate" men. He starred alongside Heather Graham, Jennifer Coolidge and Amber Heard.
