Joe Zee Applies His Eye For Fashion In 'Stylista'

Joe Zee is ELLE Magazine's creative director and a judge on the new CW series Stylista, which airs Wednesdays at 9pm. Anne Slowey, the magazine's fashion news director and main Stylista judge, also visited the studio recently.

The show pits 11 apsiring fashionistas against each other in a contest to win their dream job: junior editor for ELLE Magazine. Zee is one of three judges on the show who these young persons have to impress. And after the departure of contestant Arnoldo last week, there are now 10 people vying for the prize.

Zee's résumé is just as impressive as his sense of style. Before joining ELLE in January 2007, he was fashion director at W, contributing fashion editor at Details and House & Garden and editor-in-chief of both the men's and women's editions of Vitals.

And, according to CWtv.com, Zee was "the talent behind the TV and print advertising campaigns for DKNY, Perry Ellis, Kenneth Cole, Sean John, Banana Republic, H&M, Estée Lauder, M.A.C. Cosmetics, Chanel, and Coty, among many others. He styled the recent Gap "(PRODUCT) RED" charitable advertising campaign and other notable past campaigns for the company, including the unforgettable pairing of Madonna and Missy Elliott and the 35th anniversary campaign with Sarah Jessica Parker."
