Forrest Chruch's Delivers Fifth And Final 'Last Sermon'

Forrest Church has been a staple at All Soul's Church on the Upper East Side for decades, so the congregation was devestated to hear he had terminal cancer last year.
Given just a few months to live, Church gave what is now known as his "Last Sermon" on Palm Sunday in March 2008. Three months later, he was still kicking, so he gave the second installment of his Last Sermon. Doctors again are giving him just weeks to live, but this Sunday marks his sixth "Last Sermon" installment.
The CW11's James Ford spoke to him about life, death and his legacy. You can join Church and hear his sermon at All Souls Unitarian Church on 1157 Lexington Avenue (at 80th Street).

I taught Forest's son Twig when he was 3 years old. They were delightful people.
I spoke with a member of our society last night at our annual Halloweem party after mentioning "A Chosen Faith" she suggested visitng this site. I am glad I did - thank you for taking the time to share the message of a liberal religious faith delivered by Forrest Church -it truely feels like a loving gift in these times.
