Wakeup Workout: OM Yoga

Sarah Trelease of OM Yoga stopped by for today's Wakeup Workout! OM Yoga has partnered with the Libby Ross Foundation and is hosting an October Yoga Challenge for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Challengers take 31 days of yoga classes throughout October at a discounted rate and have the opportunity to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer by collecting sponsors. They're also hosting a Cancer Survivors yoga Teacher Training October 17th-19th.
This specialized training for certified yoga teachers will instruct on how to design a healing class for cancer survivors that addresses physical conditions while giving emotional support. OM designed this teacher training program to meet the needs of breast cancer survivors who are finding so much benefit in our classes by creating a sense of community of like minded women.
OM also provides weekly free classes (Tuesdays at 3:45pm) for breast cancer patients and survivors.

When hearing so much about the different treatments that some women undergo with breast cancer, the physical and emotional state that it puts many in. Its good to see that there's something out there for them, that allows them to regroup there physical and emotional state. I was watching an Oprah show on breast cancer and I know it was mentioned how some feel less than a women when they are diagnosed with breast cancer. Along with positive help from family and friends this is a very good aid.
Good job Linda...
