I caught the end of a round table discussion this morning about the President conducting an online toen meeting. I wish to speak about some of the comments made.

To have a President who is accessable to the American people is refreshing. There is a lot of talk about over exposure. I, for one, don't see it. It is important to reach out to the public utilizing what ever arena available. The comment that moved me to write was the one about listening to the professionals as that is their job. I don't know who said it as I was listening rather than watching. I prefer to make my own decisions rather then depend on biased views made by many of the "professionals:. I prefer to hear and see with my own ears and eyes. For too long the people in this country have listened to the professionals and only the professionals. This is not the way to make an informed decision. Someone, I don't know who, said "the time of apathy is over". I applaud President Obama for his persuit of hearing directly from the American people.

u say that the swine flu cant be caught from eating pork however it must have originated from the pig. i dont eat pork for health reasons obvisouly pork consumption by black americans has caused major medical problems, so how could u make the statement that pork has nothing to do with the disease.in fact how did the kids who are no where near farms contract it.
