Melissa is a counselor at Camp Quality and Claire (an amazingly wonderful 7-year-old, who has leukemia that is in remission) is a camper. Camp Quality is a volunteer driven charity providing a week long summer overnight camp for children with cancer.

She's from Manhattan. She's a knock out. Perfect, right? Well get this, she's also a paramedic with St. Vincent's Manhattan and will be undergoing training to be a member of the Pope's motorcade. If that don't make mom proud. The Archbishop Celestino Migloire, Apostolic Nuncio and Permanent Observer of the Holy See, (the Pope's liaison to the UN and the coordinator of his visit), will be blessing the ambulances that will be in the Pope's motorcade Friday, April 4th at 5 PM.

Mia Cirker & Anderson Middle School, NYC

Nothing sets up a Friday quite like than the sight of about 30 elementary schoolers taking over the newsroom at 7am. These kids were really good, too, stealthy, they came in and before anyone knew, they were on the air telling the entire New York area what weather to expect this weekend. Linda had a great time, the kids had a great time, and who knows, it probably won't be long until some of those very children will be drawing salaries here.

Newark (NJ) Fire Department has created a 2008 Newark Firefighters Calendar. Newark Firefighter Raul Malave, Mr. January, was here flexing his muscles for us live. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will benefit the Newark/Ironbound Boys and Girls Club to purchase computers and other much needed equipment for the countless inner city children and seniors who frequent the club.
